Verdict
The POCO F7 Ultra is a successful performance-first flagship killer. Its chip, charging and display are genuinely premium, while camera consistency and HyperOS bloat explain why it costs less than the most polished flagships.
The POCO F7 Ultra pushes the brand further into flagship territory than previous POCO phones. Snapdragon 8 Elite provides genuine top-tier performance, while the 6.67-inch high-resolution AMOLED runs at up to 120Hz and is well suited to gaming and media.
Charging specifications are exceptional for the price. The global model pairs a 5,300mAh battery with 120W wired charging and 50W wireless charging, features that many more expensive phones do not match. IP68 protection also removes one of the traditional compromises associated with performance-focused value devices.
The camera system is better than the usual gaming-phone afterthought. A 50MP main camera is joined by a 50MP telephoto around 2.5x and a 32MP ultrawide. Results are capable, but processing and consistency do not reach the level of the best Pixel, Galaxy or Xiaomi Ultra cameras.
HyperOS is the other compromise. It is fast but crowded with pre-installed apps and extra services. If you can tolerate the software, the F7 Ultra is an easy phone to understand: it delivers premium speed and charging without premium-brand pricing.
