Verdict
The 14T Pro delivers an impressively flagship-like hardware experience. Its display, performance and charging are excellent, while camera consistency, heat and HyperOS complexity prevent it from matching the most polished premium phones.
The Xiaomi 14T Pro is designed to blur the line between premium mid-range and flagship. Its 6.67-inch AMOLED supports refresh rates up to 144Hz and reaches very high peak brightness, making the display one of its strongest features.
MediaTek’s Dimensity 9300+ provides serious performance. Independent testing found it competitive with top flagship chips of its generation, particularly in multi-core workloads and gaming, although sustained heavy use can generate noticeable heat.
The Leica-branded camera system includes a 50MP main camera, 50MP telephoto around 60mm equivalent and 12MP ultrawide. It is flexible and capable, though image consistency is not as strong as the best camera-focused flagships.
Charging is exceptional: 120W wired and 50W wireless HyperCharge with compatible accessories. Combined with the 5,000mAh battery, that makes battery management much less stressful.
HyperOS remains the main subjective weakness. It is fast but crowded. If you can live with the software, the 14T Pro delivers an enormous amount of premium hardware for the money.
