The catch is equally clear: this is a 4G phone with an older Helio G99-Ultra platform, and major Pakistan retailers now treat it as discontinued. In 2026, it should therefore be judged as an old-stock or used-market buy rather than a current mid-range launch.

Display and build remain competitive

The 6.67-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display supports 120Hz refresh and is protected by Gorilla Glass 5. Notebookcheck measured good colour accuracy and treated the screen as a major positive, while GSMArena also regarded the overall package as well rounded for its class.

IP54 splash resistance is useful but limited, and the plastic-focused construction is typical of the segment. The phone still feels modern enough that display quality is unlikely to be the reason someone regrets buying it.

Performance: smooth enough, but clearly behind newer 5G rivals

The Helio G99-Ultra can handle ordinary Android use comfortably. Notebookcheck found navigation mostly smooth but recorded significant performance losses compared with the 5G sibling, especially in more complex applications and heavier multitasking.
