PhonicSpecs Review

Apple iPhone 13 Review: Still Smooth, Still Simple, Still 60Hz 8.0/10 editorial

The iPhone 13 remains fast, compact and dependable with A15 performance and a good OLED, but its 60Hz display, dual cameras and Lightning port make it an aging value option.

Our verdict

The iPhone 13 remains a competent everyday iPhone with strong performance and reliable cameras. Its biggest weakness is that the overall experience has changed little from newer budget iPhones in some areas while falling behind badly in refresh rate, charging and camera flexibility.

Buying advice

Buy only if the price is low and battery health is good. An iPhone 15 is a much stronger long-term option if your budget can stretch to it.
