Our verdict

The OnePlus 13R is one of the strongest value-focused performance phones in its class. Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 power, a 6,000mAh battery and 80W charging make it fast and long-lasting, while the lack of wireless charging and a weak ultrawide remind you where OnePlus saved money.

Buying advice

Buy the OnePlus 13R if performance, battery life and display quality matter more than having the best camera system or every premium convenience. Photography-first buyers and anyone who insists on wireless charging should step up to a full flagship.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the OnePlus 13R good for gaming?

Yes. Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 provides high-end performance, and the large 120Hz display plus 6,000mAh battery make the phone well suited to gaming.

Does the OnePlus 13R have wireless charging?

No. It supports fast 80W wired SUPERVOOC charging but does not include wireless charging.

What is the weakest camera on the OnePlus 13R?

The 8MP ultrawide is the clear weak point. The 50MP main and 2x telephoto are much more convincing.
