Our verdict

The Galaxy A16 5G makes the strongest case for itself through its AMOLED display and unusually long support promise. Performance is entry-level, 4GB variants can feel restrictive and the cameras are basic, so its value depends on buying the right memory configuration at the right price.

Buying advice

Buy it if you want an affordable Samsung with a large AMOLED, 5G and long software support. Prefer a 6GB or 8GB configuration when possible, and compare local pricing with newer budget models before committing.
