Our verdict

The Pixel 9 Pro Fold is a major improvement over Google’s first foldable. Its displays, thin design and Pixel software are excellent, but high pricing, Tensor G4 performance and cameras that trail the regular Pixel 9 Pro make it a specialist purchase.

Buying advice

Buy it if you specifically want Google’s software and AI experience on a foldable. Buyers who prioritize cameras, battery, charging or value should compare Samsung, HONOR, vivo and OnePlus alternatives.
