Overview

OnePlus 15 is a performance-and-battery focused flagship with a 6.78-inch LTPO AMOLED display capable of refresh rates up to 165Hz. It uses Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 and pairs that power with a very large 7,300mAh battery, making endurance one of its defining strengths. Charging reaches 80W in the US and can be faster in some global markets. The phone also carries a capable multi-camera system led by a 50MP main sensor and a premium high-refresh display suited to gaming and media. It targets buyers who value speed, battery life and fast charging more than the most elaborate camera hardware.

OnePlus 15 Review: Battery Life and Performance Become the Main Event 9.0/10 editorial

The OnePlus 15 is a performance-and-endurance flagship first and a camera flagship second.

Our verdict

The OnePlus 15 is a performance-and-endurance flagship first and a camera flagship second. Its Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 platform, up-to-165Hz display and enormous 7,300mAh battery make it exceptional for heavy users and gamers, while fast wired and 50W wireless charging strengthen the package. The triple-50MP camera system is capable, but camera changes and the move from a 2K to 1.5K display mean not every specification is an upgrade over the OnePlus 13.

Buying advice

Buy the OnePlus 15 if battery life, gaming performance and fast charging matter more than having the absolute best camera system. It offers unusually strong flagship hardware for its price class. OnePlus 13 owners should not upgrade automatically, because the 15 improves endurance and performance but also makes trade-offs in display resolution and camera hardware.
