Our verdict

The iPhone 15 Pro Max has aged gracefully. Its titanium design, 120Hz display, 5x telephoto and A17 Pro remain excellent, while slow charging and an older feature set are easier to accept now only if the price is substantially below newer Pro Max models.

Buying advice

Buy the iPhone 15 Pro Max if you find a strong discount and want a large premium iPhone with excellent cameras and long remaining software life. At close-to-new pricing, choose a newer Pro Max instead.
